Appointment & booking policy.

Bookings.

To ensure your preferred time and services are available, we advise a booking to be made in advance. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Please note that bookings can only be confirmed with a valid credit card.

Multiple treatments.

For bookings that include three or more treatments (excluding add-on services) we require a 50% deposit and your credit card details to be stored on file in order to confirm your appointment. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the booking will forfeit the deposit, any cancellations made within 24 hours will forfeit the deposit and incur a 50% cancellation fee. This policy includes those using a gift card.

Cancellations.

Please be advised that cancellations or amendments made up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will be processed without a penalty. If you need to cancel or change your appointment for any reason this can be done in the following ways: simply use the link included in your appointment confirmation email, reply to the SMS appointment confirmation text message or log into the client login.

Cancellations or amendments made 24 hours or less prior to an appointment will be charged the full-service amount. Appointments for which clients are a “No-Show” will be charged the full-service amount. This policy includes those using a gift card.

Please note that we will be requesting credit card details to secure your booking in line with our cancellation policy.

Group bookings.

For group bookings of 3 or more people, we require a 50% deposit and your credit card details to be stored on file in order to confirm your appointment. Any cancellations made within 2 weeks of your booking will forfeit the deposit, any cancellations made within 7 days will forfeit the deposit and incur a 50% cancellation fee. This policy includes those using a gift card.

Arrival time.

We kindly request that our clients arrive 5 minutes early for appointments to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, choose from the large range of options & settle in.

Lateness.

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for their appointments will risk losing their appointment & charged the full value of the treatment. As a courtesy to all our clients, a prompt appointment schedule is adhered to, therefore, late appointments may not be honoured. Treatments that begin late will be shortened in consideration of the next client & charged the full value of the original booking.

Right to refuse service.

The safety of our staff and our clients is our top priority. As such, the salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel that they pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, signs of a nail infection, open wounds, contagious illness, cough or a fever, or rude/obnoxious behaviour. Thank you for your understanding.

Our team is trained to the highest standard to act politely and professionally towards our valued customers. We do not tolerate any form of rudeness or disrespect towards the Mary Keith team. Please note, that we reserve the right to refuse treatments if we feel that a customer is acting in this manner.

Combination & plan packages.

Our combination or plan packages must be prepaid in full at the time of purchase. The payment for a combination or plan package cannot be used for other services or products.

Combination or plan packages are for the named person only they are non-refundable and non-transferable between clients. All combination or plan packages must be redeemed within the specified timeframe given from the purchase date. Therefore, any unused treatments will be forfeited. If your combination or plan package has passed its expiry date, it will not be extended.

Gift card.

Mary Keith Beauty Bar gift cards are non-refundable & are only to be used exclusively for treatments. All gift cards must be redeemed within the specified timeframe given when purchased.

Lost or damaged property.

We kindly ask our clients to look after their property while in the salon as we cannot take responsibility for items left unattended or damaged.

Age requirements.

No one under the age of 14 is permitted in our salon. Our treatments are specially tailored for adults. However, with parental consent, we offer treatments to those aged 16-18.

Medical conditions.

Prior to your booking, please let us know of any medical concerns, allergies or injuries you may have.
